There is a bus stop at Marbella del Caribe that takes you to Old San Juan for less than a $1.

A Safe, Walkable Neighborhood
Properties on Isla Verde Ave, (near the Intercontinental and El San Juan Hotel) are the only ones you can truly walk to/from at any time of the day AND night, even with small children. This part of Isla Verde Ave has lots of light at night, security and tourists walking around at all hours, yet the apartment is very quiet with no street noise.

• Everything is within very easy and safe walking distance (day and night)
• Public bus to Old San Juan stops at Marbella del Caribe building ~ 0.75¢ each way
• 10 minute drive from airport yet absolutely no airport noise ~ $9 Uber

Waking up to the view every morning was well worth it. The security guard, Raphael, is very kind and welcoming which made our stay amazing, and he was quick to help with anything we needed. We had a blast at La Placita every night we were in Puerto Rico. If your looking to explore the other islands off the coast, then a booze cruise is the perfect way to do it. Great condo!

Beautiful views and loved the convenience of a washer and dryer in the apartment! The balcony is the perfect place for morning coffee. The building in on a very busy street, across from lots of places to eat. We had two children with us who loved swimming in the ocean and the pool. Parents, be aware that the beach here is not calm! We had to be vigilant while watching the kids due to choppy waves and significant undertow. When the waves got to be too much, the pool was perfect- never too busy, and very family friendly.

There is a LOT of security to get in and out of the building. You have to have a fob with you for several security checkpoints to get in and out of the building and the grounds.
